Review Design
It's always best to start with a plan. Here's what to look for before starting installation.

Prewire
Prewire involves routing and pulling wires from the panels to the lights, switches, and devices, as well as wiring from main AC or DC power sources to the panels.

About Lesson

Wire to the switch from the closest light.

To make setup a snap, wire switches to a light that you want controlled by that switch.

PDM Ports with no switches attached are assumed to be in the same zone as the prior port.  When connecting ports to PDMs, connect the light with the switch in the zone first, then other ports with only lights in that zone.

In this example, the only correction is the first switch on PDM-2 Port 5, which must be moved to be part of Zone D.  To make the system configure the zones be default automatically, wire the switch in Zone D to PDM-2 Port 6.
